Well, my costume came in second place in the “Most Halloweenie” category at the office Halloween party. (And yes, it was spelled “Halloweenie” on the ballot. I choose not to read into that.) I didn’t mind coming in second because the first-place winners went as a bunch of zombies and looked REALLY freakin cool. It was a good time. Although I was disappointed that once again, nobody wanted to participate in my proposed entry for the “group costume” category: The Human Centipede.

Congrats but I think you should’ve won on originality alone! Zombies are over kill. HA!
Oh well. No point in being a sore loser about it. Besides, I got a great idea for a group costume for next year — Michael Jackson and the zombies from the “Thriller” video. No big deal. Just more zombies, right? But here’s the kicker. We would actually perform the dance number from the video for the costume judges! Now I just need to find a dozen or so other people in the office willing to put in the hours and hours of rehearsal necessary to make this concept work. Hmmmmm. You know what? Maybe I’ll just go as a cowboy or something.
